Mia Freeman

Mia Freeman is a singer, actor and musician with a rich background in both opera and
theatre. She began her music career at the Sarasota Opera House, where she was a
part of the youth opera program for five years. During this time, she performed in variety
of youth operas, including The Secret World of OG, Brundibar, Rutabaga Country, La
Bohème and The Magic Flute. These formative experiences ignited her passion for
performance and storytelling. After high school, Mia continued her education at the
State College of Florida, where she pursued her passion for musical theatre. There, she
performed in three major productions: Children of Eden (Mama Noah), The Mystery of
Edwin Drood (Edwin Drood), and Into the Woods (Baker's Wife). Upon receiving her
A.A., Mia then transferred to University Of Central Florida where she just recently graduated this past spring of 26, with her BFA in Musical Theatre.
Mia also enjoys unwinding with video games and engaging in creative hobbies like knitting and
crocheting. With a passion for both performance and learning, Mia is excited for the
opportunities ahead as she continues to grow as an artist in the world of musical
theatre.
